I know, I know. Everybody who goes to India has their own picture of Taj Mahal. It’s probably very high on the list of “most photographed places in the world”. However, it’s so beautiful and magnificent, that you just can’t help it. So here it is.

No, not from across the river – from underneath one of the arches of the guesthouse (structure just west of Taj Mahal itself)
I like that this is not like all the other photos I’ve seen – and you are right, there are a ton of them around! To capture an image like this of such a well-photographed site is really an accomplishment. I enjoy the framing that echoes the domes.
