This winter, we had some unique weather conditions in Yosemite. Due to unusually dry and snow-less weather, the mountain passes were open and accessible in January (usually they close in November). This photo is of the frozen Ellery lake, located just west of the Tioga pass.
A little piece of trivia: this lake is at elevation of 9538 feet, or 2907 meters. Pretty cool 🙂
